BCE craftsmen select only the finest grade of ash for the BCE Lambert Professional Series - chosen for the consistency and straightness of the distinctive "feathers" unique to ash. Each shaft is precision kiln dried to ensure the perfect moisture content - too much moisture and the shaft will warp, too little and the dried wood will act like a sponge in moist atmospheres, leading to warping.

The butt is naturally finished to showcase the grain and appearance of the hand selected woods and the hand splicing provides the distinctive rounded finish to the four points.
